As of December 31, 2024, Law No. 127/2024 was published in the Official Gazette, which waives unenforced administrative measures imposed from January 1, 2015, to November 30, 2024, by Local Territorial Defense Inspectorates, National Territorial Defense Inspectorate, National Food Authority, State Health Inspectorate, as well as State Police and Municipal Police.
The new law comes into effect on January 16, 2025.
Who benefits from this law?
- Individuals and/or physical or legal persons who have constructed or intervened without permission or prior notification in residential buildings, facilities where production activities are carried out (including storage processing sale of agricultural and livestock products), maintenance of work equipment and agricultural inputs.
- Individuals and/or physical or legal persons whose business involves producing processing storing trading agricultural livestock products in rural areas.
- Individuals and/or physical or legal persons who failed to comply with COVID-19 administration regulations during the pandemic period.
By January, the Council of Ministers must approve procedures for waiving fines through a decision.
